A concert in support of forests took place in Syntagma square in Athens, on 13.07.2007. In the concert participated well-known musicians and it gathered more than 20.000 people, demanding tougher forest protection laws.
The concert was organised by the Greek Social Forum
The people of Athens demand from the Goverment:
Do not change the lows about Forest's protection (article 24) in the Greek Constitution.
No more new buildings or private coorporations in the burned forests.
Employment more fire guards and better training for them.
HUMAN BEEN IS ABOVE THE PROFITS.
